Jason Jillain

Jason started his martial arts journey at the age of 15 years old in Tae Kwon Do and transitioned to Muay Thai at the of age 22. Jason has done and seen it all in Muay Thai amassing over 40 bouts in the ring, coaching and refereeing thousands.

Jason would classify himself as a purist of the art and a stickler for technique and proper mechanics and his coaching style reflects it. Always with a smile on his face and happy to answer all your questions come join a class with Jason today.

Kevin McEachern

Kevin McEachern

Kevin began his martial arts journey in 1986, exploring a variety of disciplines, including Shotokan Karate and Kuk Sool Won. However, it was not until 1991 that he discovered his true passion: Muay Thai. He fell in love with the sport and eagerly tested his skills in the ring. Fast-forward over 30 years, and Kevin consistently brings his fun personality and laser-focused technique to every class.

Abdou Haddad

Abdou Haddad

Abdou began his training and competing in Muay Thai at the age of 16 in Montreal. Driven by his passion for the sport, he moved to Calgary to further his career. Abdou’s dedication and skill led him to win the North American title in Oregon. Following this triumph, he took a significant step by moving to Thailand, where he spent an entire year focused solely on training and competing. During his time in Thailand, Abdou fought against legendary fighters such as Saenchai, Manachai, and Saensiri.

Upon returning to Calgary, Abdou continued to pursue his fighting career with unwavering determination. His hard work and perseverance have paid off, and he is now the current Canadian Muay Thai champion.

Scott Matson

Scott was introduced to Muay Thai by a childhood friend and was hooked after his first class. He progressed relatively quickly and travelled to Thailand in 2017 to train and began teaching shortly thereafter.

Scott loves seeing his students progress and improve their skills while ensuring everyone gets a great workout at the same time. If you’re looking a fun and energetic session with a strong focus on the fundamentals, come train with Scott.

Rick Raposo

Rick has always been inspired by martial arts. He trained in Kung Fu as a child in 1998 until 2004, when he discovered Brazilian Ju-Jitsu. He trained intermittently in BJJ until a friend introduced him to Muay Thai in 2019, and it was love at first strike! Rick then committed himself solely to learning the art of Muay Thai.

Moving into instructing, Rick looks to inspire positive self-growth and a passion for Muay Thai. He hopes you will fall in love with this beautiful art the same way it did for him.

William Tanner

William Tanner

Will has been drawn to martial arts since he was little, though his time was mostly spent on team sports. He has always lived with the warrior spirit, enjoys working with kids and teens, and hopes the students learn as much about themselves as they do about Muay Thai.
